I'm Rachel and I'm 17 years of age. Born and bred in England, United Kingdom, but brought up with Cantonese and therefore am fluently bilingual, however I have been studying German for 6 years and Italian for 1 so its alright. I play Drums predominantly, taught myself Ukulele, Bass and Guitar and am in a band, we're called Kleidoparty, the link to our myspace should be somewhere around here.
I don't usually write these things but I might as well seeing as I'm in the mood to. People like to read a meaty 'About Me' though, don't you think?
I set rather high standards for myself in my goals and so on, its a shame I'm so lazy that sometimes I just can't be bothered. I'll have to work on that this year.
I absolutely adore Roger Federer and my boyfriend thinks I'm obsessed with him but he likes him too so I really don't know what he's chatting about. Michael Mcintyre makes me laugh until my sides split, I thank him for being slighty camp and a fabulous comedian.
I'm a big movie and book buff and have films and paper/hardbacks strewn everywhere in my room. I'm rather fond of a couple of epic books but I prefer Authors to particular book names, for example, I like most of F.Scott Fitzgerald's work and also that of Chuck Palahniuk.
I'm quite sarcastic as a person and most people who first meet me usually misunderstand the sarcasm for truth. I'm really not an evil person, I just take the proverbial a lot. I'm almost always joking and really, I just say what I mean, and usually I don't mean them. That much.
Oh music interest. A wide range but mostly Indie first and foremost, followed by a bit of Thrash, Ambient and bits of Progressive, Justin Timberlake and even some Metal thrown in there, courtesy of le boyfriend. My Last.fm will show you what I listen to on a daily basis so you don't have to judge me just by genre. I have a link to that somewhere on the page too.
